Thomas Suarez: A 12-year-old App Developer

Updated: April 28, 2012

Nobody is ever too young to become an inventor and an entrepreneur.

And there’s no greater proof of that today than Thomas Suarez, a 12-year-old mobile software developer who I am featuring today.

If you didn’t “Google” who Thomas was when I mentioned him in my post, 20 Excuses That Losers Tell Themselves, then here’s your chance to get to know him.

An inspirational talk from a TEDx Event, here’s Thomas Suarez as he talks about his apps, Justin Bieber and his incredible resourcefulness in learning.

Thomas Suarez actually made me ponder if I could develop my own iOS and Android app. I can make a game like Streetfood Tycoon or perhaps a personal finance app that will help people with money management.

What do you think? If you’re a smartphone and tablet user, what personal finance app would you be interested in? Let’s see if we can develop it. 😀

  1. An app that computes all applicable taxes for a certain business would be great i.e. menu of different types of services, input sales, type of business (sole prop, partnership, corp) then it computes and lists down all applicable taxes for that type of business. That would be awesome! 🙂

  2. hi!

perhaps a budget planner, daily recorder of some sort where you input your income and your expenses and then it computes automatically how you have left to spend and how much you have saved. a daily financial journal that automatically organizes the data you input that gives your financial status on a day to day business.

i hope you make an application of this sort.

    thanks,

There are a gamut of personal finance software out there. You just have to google it and best of all most of them are free!
